In retrospect, I maybe should have shot this photo in twilight. I also should have realized that, of course, the family who lives here would come driving home as I’m taking pictures of their house. And, finally, I am realizing that I might end up having 53 weeks this year. I’m not sure how that happened.

Week 42 – Moonlit Nights
This photo may seem to have something in common with another photo taken previously this year. It very well may… but the previous photo was taken using a car for a tripod. This one was taken using a tripod. Note the shadows on the building. Try not to note the ridiculous blue aberration by the windows. I’ve certainly decided to ignore it.
Week 16 – Blue, Like Jazz
I went to see Blue Like Jazz on Friday, so I felt like getting some cool, Van Gogh-esque shot of stars and lights and sky. That more or less failed.
However, I did get this shot of The Goose’s Acre that I enjoy enough. And a pub seems to go along with my hoped-for Blue Like Jazz theme.
Week 11 – Aiming for the sky
It’s true, two LEGO photos in a row. I’ve been having trouble finding new and exciting things to take photos of, and it’s difficult to keep my camera with me at all times. But I will continue to try to keep this thing going! Maybe folks can give me opinions on what I should try to shoot this next week?
On the side, even though the subject matter is old, I do like this shot.
Week 5 – Church at Night
I have begun once again to run slides at church. For that reason, I was there late on Wednesday night this week. It seemed a good a time as any to get a nice long exposure of the building. Car driving by while the shutter was open? Merely a bonus. I’m torn on whether or not it’s too distracting, but then again, I have that giant lens flare going on as well, so distractions aren’t really what I’m worrying about for this one.
