I was going to use a picture I took at a church Christmas event, but this image seems even more so in the spirit of Christmas: serving others with a great meal.

Week 51 – Bright Lights
In retrospect, I maybe should have shot this photo in twilight. I also should have realized that, of course, the family who lives here would come driving home as I’m taking pictures of their house. And, finally, I am realizing that I might end up having 53 weeks this year. I’m not sure how that happened.
Week 50 – Getting Close
It’s weird to think I started this project around Christmas/New Year’s, and now here I am again getting close to that time. The tree went up this week, as did ornaments, and I feel like I may have been able to do something a bit neater with lights on a tree, but I wanted to highlight this specific one.
Week 49 – Compy 386x!
I feel like I turned what could have been a fairly vanilla photo of my computer’s innards into something fancy with the addition of my Doctor Who screwdriver. I turned it on (thus creating a blue light) and stuck it inside the machine. Color and fun!
Week 48 – Four Thanksgivings
I ate four thanksgivings this past week. This cow was not a part of any of them, but I did get to help feed him, which might make it five thanksgivings?
Week 47 – Flowering
I decided to get another macro shot this year, as I’ve taken one before and figured this project could use two before week 52.
Week 46 – Trips Through Time
Ren Fest presents opportunities for all sorts of bizarre scenarios.
Week 45 – Halloween Life
I took advantage of Crossroads’ Halloween Party (Fall Festival / Holy Ghost Weenie Roast) to take a number of character portraits. I really dig all of the colors on this one.
Week 44 – Spooky stuff
Got to go to a halloween party this past Saturday! It’s tricky taking pictures when you’re staying in character as a young boy going on adventures, but I managed. It was fun. There were Nightmares before Christmas.
Week 42 – Moonlit Nights
This photo may seem to have something in common with another photo taken previously this year. It very well may… but the previous photo was taken using a car for a tripod. This one was taken using a tripod. Note the shadows on the building. Try not to note the ridiculous blue aberration by the windows. I’ve certainly decided to ignore it.
